Due to the unexpected (and sad) news that the City of Gold Triathlon has been canceled, the club has decided to add the June 4th Tri for Fun as a club race this year.  The race also offers a duathlon option for those who may not be ready for a swim leg.

And to help any newbies or first timers get ready, we've rescheduled our Tri 101 and Transition Clinic for Saturday March 26th. The combined event will take place at 2:00 PM at Shawn's house, 1267 Orchard Way. In addition to Tri 101 and the Transition Clinic, Coach Sean will introduce a ten-week training plan that will get you read for the June 4th Tri for Fun.

The time changes next weekend, so it's time to start thinking about the extra daylight and expanded training opportunities for swim, bike, and run.  If you haven't seen it, here's our planned spring workout schedule.  It's always best to monitor (or inquire via) the Yahoo Group email list to be sure the workout is on and your Tri friends will be there.  By the way, the Friday Swim Clinic at One Mile doesn't start until Memorial Day weekend.
