December President's Report

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

2018 has been an eventful year for the CTC and it’s members. We hosted our first triathlon this September, something we’ve talked about as a club since our inception. Without all of you racing or volunteering at Black Butte, it would not have been nearly as successful an event. I hope to see you all back next year. Registration is currently open for the 2019 race and the entry price increases on January 1st.

We also went through the Camp Fire, with several of our members being displaced after having lost their homes. I was so impressed by the amount of time, good, and money that you all donated to help the community of Paradise. This outpouring of support for those in need is one of the main reasons I love being a part of our club and our community.

Thank you to the Sasaki Family for opening their home for the Year End Party. It was fun to get to hang out with all of you! I also want to thank Jennifer Pothier and Mary Ann Bachus who will be leaving the board of directors. Jenni Merrell and Amy Bromelow will be joining the BOD for 2019. Officer positions will be determined at the first meeting of 2019.

The Season Launch Party will be held January 24th at 6:30 PM. Thank you to Fleet Feet Chico for once again hosting this event.
